Mesdaq update

I just got word that the Court of Appeals has denied the petition for a writ of mandate (after refusing to accept my amicus brief) in the Mesdaq case, that I discussed here. Very disappointing. More details when I hear them.

Update: Just got off the phone with Mr. Mesdaq. How heartbreaking. “This is supposed to be America,” he says. “What is this? This supposed to be my property. This is third world thinking.”

Just awful. When is he being forced out of town? I'd like to buy of his last cigars. Maybe he could even make it like a small promotion to draw some attention to his cause.
