"The Sins of Ralph Reed"

GQ has a fascinating story on the life-and-times of Ralph Reed - who is almost as revolting as Jay Sekulow.  After reading the article and looking around to see whether Steve Dillard had changed his mind about Reed, I now make three predictions.  One, Reed will "repent" and "apologize" for his behavior.  Two, he will not free himself of the fruits of his misdeeds, i.e., he won't give up the money he earned by exploiting and lying to his Christian supporters.  Three, religious people will be so desperate for a leader (perhaps religious Americans need good men like Ralph Reed to save us all from those evil gays?) that they'll forget that a bank robber who holds onto his ill-gotten money is not actually sorry.

UPDATE: The Legal Fiction blog has this dynamite summary and commentary.
