In a disgusting case of animal abuse, a cat being abused was filmed by the culprits and posted on YouTube. A teenaged boy slammed a cat against a wall and repeatedly struck it. It was a hot topic on the internet all day Sunday and bloggers think it happened in Lawton.
Among the thousands of posts on the internet, commenters pointed to Lawton as the source after it was posted this weekend. The user name and information, along with other information on the internet pointed to a teen here in Texoma. Posts from all over to country asked people to call 7News, and plenty did. Due to it's graphic nature, much of the video was edited for this story.
I suspect tomorrow will be a very interesting day for the young sociopath. UPDATE: Comments expressing outrage are an appropriate response. Please do not countact the teen's mother or post her contact information. UPDATE: Kenny Glenn has been arrested.
Of coarse, cats should not be beaten. But I do recall the days when my grandfather would take a sack of new born kitten to the creek to dispose of the unwanted litter. I also recall him shooting stray dogs. he was, however, a kind and gentle man. Sometimes I fear we have gone to far. My great uncle had over 100 game roosters and traveled throughout the southeastern part of the U.S. fighting them. Guess that too, would be cruel by todays standards. We really have gone to far in some cases. Tossing a cat against a wall is wrong, but is pulling a cats tail the next thing to be demonized.

I saw this video and I literally cannot stop sobbing. What person can ascribe to this kind of cruelty and call himself a "human being"? What I find even more heartbreaking is the fact that, in some sick twisted way, this kid probably posted his video to get attention. And that he got! Apparently, Feb 15th is now Kenny Glenn Day? Does he deserve infamy?
