O'Connor Alert

If you are not from Connecticut, skip this post.

Kevin O'Connor has surfaced. The U.S. Attorney is now doing double duty, spending the lion's share of his time in Washington, D.C. as a deputy attorney general. He's assigned to antigang activities. He's quoted in today's New York Times. He notes a "resurgence of gang activity in several cities."

How does he hold two full-time jobs? Who is running the office in Connecticut?

I spent a little time in Mr. O'Connor's office a few weeks ago. His desk is empty; the conference table is barren. The room looks unlived in. Even his private restroom sparkled.

How did I manage to find myself in his office? If I told you, I might be indicted.
